Bibat with box-outs
Hydraulically movable bi-pocket battery mould for precast colums with multiple corbels.
For producing columns with multiple corbels, Construx-Weckenmann equipped their standard bi-pocket Bibat moulds with modular side panels. The full steel side panels of the moulds are divided into different segments and mounted on rollers to move sideways.
This allows to integrate the corbel pockets onto the columns, at any position. The corbels are formed by fixing plywood into the rectangular frame of the pockets. These box-outs must be made to measure by the customer.
