Hydraulically movable bi-pocket battery mould for precast columns with a foundation foot.
The Bibat bi-pocket battery mould by Construx-Weckenmann is also available with an integrated foundation foot mould, making it the ideal solution for the precast production of concrete columns with foundation bases.
To meet this requirement, the standard Bibat configuration has been enhanced with an adjustable foundation form installed at one end of each pocket. This allows the production of columns with cast-in footings, eliminating the need for separate foundation casting processes.
Efficient Layout for High-Volume Production
The Bibat system features a standard configuration of four full steel panels:
- Two fixed centre panels
- Two hydraulically movable outer panels
This setup creates two independent casting pockets per mould, ensuring efficient, parallel production. All panels are equipped with hydraulic cylinders, which handle the opening, closing, and locking functions without manual intervention, greatly reducing labor and cycle times.
Hydraulic Foot Mould Integration
Each Bibat unit is equipped with two integrated foundation foot moulds, which operate independently and hydraulically. The adjustable design accommodates different foundation sizes, allowing for high flexibility in the production of structural precast columns with integrated bases.
