Hydraulically movable battery mould for precast reinforced concrete beams and columns.
The Bibat battery mould is a high-performance, hydraulically operated formwork system designed for the production of reinforced precast concrete beams, columns, and similar structural elements. It offers precision, flexibility, and automated handling, making it ideal for modern precast factories aiming to optimize throughput and reduce manual labor.
A typical Bibat setup includes:
Depending on the production requirements, the steel sheeting used on the panels is either 6 mm or 8 mm thick, ensuring strength, durability, and clean surface finishes.
Thanks to integrated hydraulic cylinders, the movable panels can be opened and locked automatically—completely eliminating the need for manual tie-bars on the top. This provides a safer and faster operation with minimal physical effort.
For applications requiring more mould compartments, additional intermediate movable panels can be inserted between the side panels and the fixed centre panel. These extra panels are secured using tie-bars, offering a modular solution for tailored production layouts.
The Bibat system allows customers to choose any panel height or length to suit specific project needs. Popular lengths range from 10 m to 15 m, with the option to connect multiple mould units for extended production lines.
The height of the panels, combined with the cylinder stroke length, defines the minimum and maximum cross-sections of the concrete elements. The system supports standard element heights between 600 mm and 1000 mm, covering most typical beam and column requirements.
To adapt to different factory workflows, the centre panel can be supplied as:
