Fully Hydraulic Battery Mould Without Base Requirements
The Tribat battery mould by Construx-Weckenmann is a hydraulically operated formwork system for the production of precast reinforced concrete beams and columns—designed to completely eliminate the need for additional timber or steel bases.
This mould system is especially suitable for projects where element sizes change frequently, offering fast, flexible setup with minimal manual handling.
Smart Design for Versatile Production
At the core of the Tribat system is a fixed steel work platform, with integrated bases located on both sides. The system incorporates two vertical panels:
- On one side, a vertical panel is mounted for horizontal movement
- On the opposite side, a hinged vertical panel enables vertical adjustment
Both the opening, closing, and locking functions are fully hydraulically controlled, ensuring seamless adjustment with zero manual intervention.
No Additional Bases Required
Thanks to its integrated steel floor, the Tribat mould allows beams or columns to be cast directly on the platform, completely eliminating the need for external base elements. This makes it ideal for fast-changing production environments where setup time and flexibility are key.
Best Suited for Self-Compacting Concrete
Due to the nature of the vertical panel positioning (one side always protrudes slightly), self-compacting concrete (SCC) is recommended. This ensures excellent surface finishes and consistent quality without vibration.
