Monobox

Hydraulically retractable and non-adjustable moulds for standardised box-culverts.

The Monobox by Construx-Weckenmann is a non-adjustable, hydraulically retractable formwork system designed for the efficient casting of standard box culverts. Engineered for precision, repeatability, and ease of use, this mould allows box culverts to be cast upright with minimal labor and high dimensional accuracy.

Purpose-built for standard box culvert production

The Monobox system is ideal for projects requiring repetitive culvert sizes and mass production, such as:

  • Drainage systems
  • Underpasses
  • Utility tunnels
  • Infrastructure box components

System Configuration

Outer Mould

  • Constructed in two L-shaped sections, mounted on floor rails
  • Both sections are manually movable for opening and closing
  • Precisely machined closing parts ensure tight, repeatable seals

Inner Mould

  • Hydraulically retractable design, operated via manual hand pump
  • Retractable wedges allow easy demoulding without damaging edges
  • Suitable for standardized use with no dimension adjustment required
