Slotted Drain Moulds – Precision-Made Circular Gutters
Construx-Weckenmann provides a system of four fixed moulds for producing slotted drainage channels with integrated openings and high surface finish.
Element Specifications:
- Length: 4 m
- Outer Section: 600 mm × 600 mm
- Inner Diameter: 300 mm
Mould Configuration:
- Outer mould: Adjustable steel panels to allow variation in cross-section shapes
- Inner form: Machined steel tube placed between two precision end plates
- Plastic wedges placed between the tube and base plate to create drainage slots
Once the concrete has set, the tube is pulled out using a winch system, enabling fast, damage-free demoulding.
Culvert Headwalls – Made on Tilting Tables
For large box culverts, custom-made headwalls are produced using two 13 m × 4 m tilting tables equipped with:
- Adjustable side forms
- Detachable sides
- Box magnets
- Extensions to cast elements up to 4 m wide
Production occurs in two phases to ensure accuracy and handling efficiency.
Standard Headwalls for Round Culverts – Modular Moulds
Construx-Weckenmann offers three modular moulds for standard headwall production—suitable for rectangular and V-shaped profiles—allowing quick, repeatable casting in one single pour.
Adjustable Dimensions:
- Width: 1600 mm to 2550 mm
- Height: 1150 mm to 1800 mm
These cassette-style moulds accommodate different shapes and features and enable top-down casting, ensuring fair-faced finishes on all sides.
Adjustable Junction Box Moulds
Custom-designed junction box moulds are available with:
- Fully adjustable geometry
- Connection ports on all four sides for easy integration with slotted drains and culverts
