The Insertcaster by Construx-Weckenmann is a fully equipped side-cast stair mould designed for the efficient production of straight stair flights, where only one side requires manual finishing. With its adjustable components and flexible insert system, it is ideal for high-quality, high-volume precast stair production with custom step profiles.
Designed for Side-Cast Efficiency
Unlike traditional upright or top-pour moulds, the Insertcaster uses a side-casting process, significantly reducing manual labor and finishing time. The mould accommodates straight stair flights and is particularly effective when one visible side of the staircase is sufficient.
Configuration & Dimensions
- 1 fixed centre panel with open structure on both sides
- 2 movable outside panels, all three with integrated working platforms
- Access stairs at both ends provide full access to the centre panel – Can be removed if producing a flight with bottom landing
- Base length: 9 m
- Total mould length (with landings): 12 m
