Tilting & Fixed Steel Tables for Precast Concrete Walls and Floors

Construx-Weckenmann table forms are engineered to deliver superior performance for the production of fair-faced concrete wall panels and floor slabs. Available as tilting or fixed tables, these systems are built for precision casting, smooth surface finishes, and long-term durability in precast factories.

Robust Construction for Large-Format Concrete Panels

Each table is constructed from a rigid steel frame topped with an 8 mm or 10 mm steel sheeting. These sheeting plates are custom-rolled up to 16 m x 4.5 m in a single, seamless piece—free from joints or welds. For larger dimensions, multiple sections are precisely welded and ground together on-site.

The steel surface is sandblasted and polished using an automated grinding system, ensuring an exceptionally smooth finish. The level of surface polish can be tailored to meet the customer’s requirements for architectural or industrial concrete.

Tilting Table Functionality

To ensure safe demoulding and edge protection, tilting tables allow precast panels to be lifted in an inclined position—making vertical storage and handling possible without damage.

Each tilting table features:

  • A tilting articulating base frame
  • A rigid top structure that tilts up to 80°
  • Perfectly synchronized hydraulic rams
  • Multi-stroke cylinders, eliminating the need for floor recesses

When vibration is required, the table is subdivided into two parts: the form surface and the tilting base, separated by vibration absorbers to minimize energy loss.

Side Forms, Vibrators & Accessories

  • Side Forms: Available in fixed, detachable, tiltable, or adjustable formats. Heights adjustable from 100 mm to 300 mm, continuously variable in 200 mm range.
  • Magnetic Fixing: Full steel or timber side forms can be attached with box magnets.
  • Vibration System: For non-SCC concrete, tables can be equipped with normal or high-frequency vibrators, and a frequency converter ensures optimal vibration energy depending on the element's size and geometry.
  • Full Width Usage: Adjustable work supports along the table's length allow for casting elements up to the full 4 m width.

Optional Heating & Insulation System

Tables can be equipped with:

  • Integrated heating pipes beneath the top plate
  • Thermal insulation panels installed on the floor or enclosed in a steel casing

The heating network is routed through lateral profiles, with all tubes interconnected. Inlet and outlet positions are customizable to suit the client's installation and workflow requirements.
