Mould and demoulding device for wastewater treatment tanks
The general purpose of this extremely complex mould system is to cast a concrete tank type '6PE BAFâ? which stands for a 6 person house wastewater treatment system.
The base as well as the 5 internal chambers are poured in one single phase. The tanks are cast upside down and after demoulding of the inside mould, they are turned 180° with a made to measure turning device.
Demoulding the inside is done in a specific sequence and by means of different techniques:
- Hydraulic shrinking of chamber n°1
- Air vents in chambers n°2, n°3 and n°4
- Chamber n°5 is tapered
- Securing of all the chambers
- Hydraulic lifting of the base frame
- Turning the element together with the outer mould
- Releasing of the outside mould
