Self-reacting casting beds with different lengths

Construx-Weckenmann installs 3 casting beds without major civil works. The capacity of the factory is extended with 3 beds of 24m, 36m, and 60m.

All 3 beds have a modular setup:

• 1 live-end + 1 dead-end
• Modular steel bed parts in between both ends

Technical specifications of the beds:

• Width 1500mm
• Usable stressing width 900mm 
• Side-form coupling on the base
• Per head 4 anchors of 25T
• Maximum Prestressing force 800T
  • 90% load at 300mm eccentricity
  • 10% load at 1400mm eccentricity
• Maximum Prestressing moment 320Tm
